Jayson Faulkner is a longtime Whistler entrepreneur and outdoor industry leader who has called the resort community home since 1977. He founded Escape Route, Whistler's well-known outdoor retail store and guiding operation, which he led for over two decades before stepping away in 2011. His career has spanned roles as VP of Sales and Marketing at Arc'teryx, co-founder of the Sea to Sky Gondola Corporation, and founder/president of Bridal Falls. Faulkner has also served on Whistler's municipal council and chairs the Spearhead Huts Project, championing backcountry hut development in the Spearhead Range. A passionate mountain guide and advocate for outdoor recreation, he's helped shape Whistler's identity as a global adventure destination.
